Knife Used In Hold-up At Bp

POLICE are searching for a knife-wielding robber who threatened a service station attendant before making off with a sum of cash last night.

A man entered the BP Service Station in Parry Street, Newcastle West, at 8.30pm, with a knife and demanded money.

He grappled with a female staff member before leaving on foot, and was last seen running west in Parry Street.

The man is described as being in his late 30s, 185 centimetres tall with a tan, short dark hair, facial hair and wearing black clothing.
